If you’re going to San Francisco…

If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair…and bring your best ideas! That’s exactly what the Pillbie team did when we won a trip to the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco. Our smart pillbox had caught the attention of the judges, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase our product to tech enthusiasts from around the world.

We arrived a few days early so we could take in all the city had to offer. From the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz Island, we made sure to see all the iconic sights. And of course, we indulged in as much amazing food as we could manage.

When the conference finally kicked off, we set up our Pillbie booth in the exhibition hall, and it was such a thrill to see people’s faces light up when they saw our product. We gave presentations throughout the conference, and it was so rewarding to see people really getting excited about what we’ve created.

In between all the work stuff, we managed to hit up a few talks and panels. It was such a cool experience to be in the same room as some of the biggest names in the tech industry and learn about the latest trends and developments.

But I gotta say, one of the best parts of the conference was meeting all the other startup founders and tech enthusiasts. It was such a great opportunity to network and make new connections with people from all over the world. We had some really great conversations with other healthcare startups and came away feeling inspired and energized about the future of patient care.

Of course, we made sure to have some fun too! We hit up some of San Francisco’s famous museums, took a bike tour of the city, and tried some of the californian beer.

On the last day of the conference, we were thrilled to learn that we had been selected to participate in the Startup Battlefield competition. Although we didn’t end up winning, it was such an honor just to be included.

All in all, attending the TechCrunch Disrupt conference was an incredible experience for both Batric and me. We came away feeling excited and inspired, and we’re already counting down the days until next year’s conference. If you’re thinking about attending, I say go for it! You never know what amazing opportunities and adventures might be waiting for you there.
